A trained medical laboratory scientist, Mindy did not expect to become an artist. Although she grew up with plenty of artistic influence from family members, her personal art career did not begin until 2004 when she started painting notecards at her kitchen table to help pay for her kids’ activities. She knew then that art MUST be part of her life. She began learning at the feet of the artists she admired and worked hard to hone her own skills. Today, she is an award-winning painter and lover of all things art. She and her husband live in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
