I thank the Lord for the desire and ability to draw and paint. He is very near and dear to my life and my creating.

I am virtually self taught and have been drawing since I was a child. I have taken a few online classes to learn other tips and techniques. 

I like creating with a realistic aspect. I work with professional quality pastels, colored pencils, graphite pencils and acrylic paints. I also used to use oil paints until the fumes started affecting me. 

Professional quality tools give the best effects, quality, and duration of the art piece. I love creating for others, seeing/hearing the smile and/or joy it brings to them.

What I like as a subject is not necessarily what others like... so I can create almost anything for them.

I have created many portraits of present and past dogs, cats, horses, and people.  All I need is a couple pictures and if it’s an animal the breed, if known, so I can search for references on body structures, if needed.

I have also created landscapes.
